The Baptism Preparation Ministry is open to individuals and married couples who desire to live out their own baptismal promise to share the Good News of Jesus Christ by journeying with families who bring their children for Baptism. The Ministry welcomes the parents, making sure that they feel part of our faith community, and helping the parents realize the commitment they are making to raise their child in the faith when they request their child be baptized. A group of parents participate in one session of preparation and then the celebration of Baptism of their child. Ministry participants give witness to their own baptism and family traditions and share experiences in raising children in the Faith. Volunteers are always needed. Training for the Baptism Preparation is provided.
