The Ministry with Senior Adults includes:

• Communion Ministry with residents in assisted living at:
• Lions Manor
• Rosewood Manor
• The Maples
• Austin Harris Residence

We have a team of Communion Ministers serving our care homes. 

2. Home visits – Communion and/or friendly visits with senior adults.
3. Driving senior adults to Mass on Sundays.
4. Senior Cafe’s – Wednesday Mornings

Approximately twice per month, from September to June, senior adults have the opportunity for spiritual growth, community building and socialization. A diversity of themes is explored. Watch the bulletin for details. All senior adults are welcome – no registration required. Love offerings are gratefully accepted to support the ministry.

Inter-generational relational ministry:

• Reading – a group of senior adults visits the Parish School Kindergarten and PREP classes periodically during the year and reads to small groups of students for 15-20 minutes. It is a wonderful way to build community between the generations.
• Gardening  several of our seniors volunteer their time to maintain our flower gardens at the side of the church.
• With teens: Senior adults are participating as prayer partners for parish and diocesan youth on pilgrimages and retreats.
