The Handmaids of the Lord is a community of women actively involved in helping other women renew and live their Christian faith to the fullest. It provides for women who are single parents, separated or divorced, widows, unmarried mature women and married women who want to be part of a women’s Christian faith community. Realizing the difficulties these women face due to loneliness, rejection and fear, the group provides pastoral guidance and support. The Christian Life Program (CLP) is the entry point to be a member of the Handmaids of the Lord. We pray, sing, listen to a speaker, have a group discussion and enjoy fellowship together. We offer the CLP twice a year in February and September. Each CLP is composed of 12 sessions.
