Small Christian Community

A Small Christian Community (SCC) is a group of 8 to 10 people who meet regularly, possibly twice a month, to reflect on the readings from the Sunday Mass and to discuss how they can apply the lessons from the readings to their everyday lives. Because they meet regularly, the group eventually gets to be like a family, supporting each other in their faith journey and also showing concern for one another as an extended family might do. The groups can be of all ages, or a special age group. Each Small Christian Community, in its reflection and discussion, brings the Kingdom of God into their lives, thus enriching their participation in the Mass.
