St. Vincent de Paul Society

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a lay catholic organization whose mission is to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy

Inspired by the Gospel values of charity and compassion for all, and in an effort to promote human dignity, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul provides food, clothing, shelter and other forms of assistant to people in need. The Society is an internal Catholic lay organization. Key to its active ministry is the person-to-person involvement of our member volunteers. Because they see the face of Jesus Christ in the needy persons whom they serve, their primary purpose is to bring the love and peace of Christ to those who are suffering.

“Make it a practice to judge persons and things in the most favorable light at all times and under all circumstances.”– St. Vincent de Paul
